These terms apply to the Duetide invite-only alpha.
What Duetide is
Duetide is a tool for recording recurring financial obligations and seeing what is due next. It is a record-keeping aid. It does not connect to your bank, does not move money, and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
Alpha status
The service is under active development and is offered as-is, without warranty or uptime commitment. Features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own records for anything you cannot afford to lose, and treat Duetide as a convenience rather than a system of record.
Accuracy of figures
Totals shown in Duetide are derived from what you enter. Amounts recorded in a currency other than your workspace base currency are excluded from base-currency totals rather than converted, and are labelled as such. “Auto-pay” records that you arranged payment elsewhere; it is never proof that a payment was made. You remain responsible for paying your obligations on time.
Your account
Keep your password confidential and use an email address you control. Do not use the service to store other people’s financial data without their knowledge, and do not attempt to access accounts or workspaces that are not yours.
Ending your use
You can export your data and delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & Security. Access to the alpha may be withdrawn if the service is misused.
